Remember the milk... my new favorite site..

I have notebooks in my bag. And pens. I will always carry such items. However... for keeping tracks of things to do, things to remember, things I want to buy... even birthdays.. the site Remember the Milk is better.

I started using it just before I changed jobs and cities. This require a lot of things to do, things to remember... boring but important and even costly to forget. Like making sure everyone has your new address, that the electricity no longer is in my name, and shit like that.. LOTS of it. I felt pretty good about writing the different lists, and forgot about it. The notebook is silent. It never says a word. Not once has it warned me about something important. I had to write lists to make me remember to look at my list.. Needless to say that was a waste of ink.

Remember the Milk, on the other hand, spams my email. And that is a good thing. Because then I read it and I remember it. And I remember to keep using it. And I can access it from wherever. And I can write notes about the stuff.. Like.. on my list it says "Change mobilephone-operator". Here I can write the number of the operator, what status it has, and whatever. I can also change the duedates on the list. I can tag the list with .. tags..

And I'm using a version in norwegian for my preferred language.

So, I hereby declare Remember the Milk as a nifty site. It's not complicated, it's so basic that it's easy and therefore usable. And it even got a cute name.
